ONE AND ONLY BULK TRASH PICK-UP

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23

As we all know, bulk items such as TV sets, mattresses, and construction items are not to be placed in dumpsters.  This is the time to get rid of all of these items!!  All bulk trash may be deposited in the roped off area on the Salem Walk side of the pool beginning Saturday, June 19.  Please do not place bulk items near the pool earlier than this day!  Be sure to put your bulk trash in the properly designated areas for collection.

As always, since people and children like to rummage through the items left at the bulk trash pick up site, please make sure that nails and other items that may be hazardous are removed from your articles before placing them in the collection area.

Prohibited materials

These materials WILL NOT BE PICKED UP and should not be placed in bulk trash:

Batteries, Commercial items, Logs and stumps, Concrete or cement, Any item requiring more than 2 men to pick up. Hazardous waste, Liquid waste:  oil based paint/motor oil, Propane tanks, Sheetrock or demolition material.

The City of Milford holds separate propane tank disposal days.  Please check the local paper for details.  Sheetrock and demolition materials must be brought to Waste Conversion, 211 Old Gate Lane, Milford.  This is no longer accepted at the Transfer Station.

We are also looking for someone to coordinate a Tag sale on the weekend before Bulk Trash pick-up.  If interested, please get in touch with a Board member.
